At Eco Friendly Market our commitment is to preserve our natural resources, precious
environment and its species.
We support and encourage the use of earth-friendly materials for packaging, personal care
and in our daily chores.
Our packaging products are made of "natural fiber" materials such as Sinamay, Abaca,
Pandan, Abaca-Cogon Grass, Karagumoy, Buri, Seagrass , Bankuan and many others.
The fiber is derived from plants that follow a method of organic farming which uses no
chemical fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides.
The farmers follow the traditional way and good practices such as natural composting and
crop rotation.
Our end products are "natural and organic" which are made from natural fibers and organic
method of farming.
However, it is important to understand that these are not "certified organic". "Certified
Organic" standards apply only to foods and food packaging.
A manufacturing facility (for food and food packaging) should also be "certified organic" but
since our product does not fall into that category, our finished products will not be "certified
organic" until certification and standards can be defined.
